Jim is a long time resident of Cranbrook and has been with Blue Sky Realty since completing the UBC licensing requirements. He is a member of the Masonic Lodge, Order of the Eastern Star and the Canadian Museum of Rail Travel in Cranbrook.

His experience in several business ventures and involvment in developing rural, commercial, and residential property gives him a well-rounded background in real estate investment. He likes buying real property himself and sees about two properties a week that he would like to buy; that's propbably why he likes this business so much.

His personal knowledge stems from owning, improving and profiting from many different forms of property and he is always willing to share his experience in these fields with any inquisitive clients.

Some young people start out with mobile homes because of the affordability. You can generally fix them up and make money, even if you don't own the ground they sit on. Often they are fastened to concrete peirs and some modular designs placed on basements.

I've done radical re-controuring of acreages, developed farms from raw land, been involved with bringing power in long distances, dilling and developing wells and irrigating from same.
